About Flicker

Flicker is a Pi Network-based entertainment app designed to:

  • Facilitate peer-to-peer Pi token sharing through game participation
  • Increase real Mainnet transactions with a fun, interactive use case
  • Reward winners via provably fair lotteries tied to Pi blockchain transactions

How It Works

Transactions & Participation

  • Users send exactly 1 Pi (Mainnet only) to the lottery wallet
  • Due to Pi Network protocol limitation (Stellar Core 19.6), MEMO data isn't stored on-chain
  • -> In order to ensure accurate registration, new deposit transactions are automatically retrieved.
  • -> However, if the MEMO field is left blank, manual completion is necessary.
  • Participants must manually verify their Transaction ID to confirm entry
  • Participants submit transaction IDs with verification against the Pi blockchain, which is performed server-side.

Winner Selection

  • Winners are drawn using a transparent method
  • Payouts are sent automatically to the wallet address from the winning transaction

Gate.io Integration

Deposits are tracked via Gate.io API to ensure only valid Pi Mainnet transactions (≥1 Pi) are counted.

Transparency & Fairness

  • No smart contracts (Soroban requires Pi Protocol 20+; currently on 19.6)
  • Critical logic (e.g., RNG) can be shared openly >> RNG Code <<
